We are a dedicated team which strives to provide success to our clients in regards to all their accountancy needs. Our team is very close-knit and ensures that a unified support is provided to you whenever you need it. With expertise covering all aspects of accountancy, taxation and business advisory services, we are well placed to take a holistic view to planning for the future as well as dealing with specific matters.

Gwyn Thomas 

Managing Director

Gwyn has over 30 years of experience in accountancy having qualified with a big four firm and then specialised in tax with a smaller firm in Liverpool before moving to Pwllheli to set up this business in 1989.

Gwyn can well understand the fears, problems and ambitions of entrepreneurs of all ages. He prides himself on providing sound business and tax advice to all clients .

When not at work Gwyn is a keen gardener, traveller and football fan. Gwyn is married to Lesley, also a chartered accountant and they have two grown up children one a corporate lawyer and the other, yes, yet another chartered accountant.

Shon Evans

Associate

Shon was brought up in the area and attended Cymerau and Glan Y Môr schools. He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2016 having joined the firm in 2007. He is interested in business development and all aspects of taxation and strives to give his clients the best possible advice and efficient service.

Shon is an ex. fair-weather golfer and enjoys spending time with his partner Ola and daughter Sofia. The golf clubs will make a comeback one sunny day!

Arwel Hughes

Associate

Arwel was brought up in Pwllheli and was educated at the town’s primary and secondary schools. He has a keen interest in sports, particularly rugby and football, having played both for the town when younger !

He has over 30 years experience in the accountancy profession and joined the firm in 2001 where he qualified as a chartered accountant .

He is married to Annwen who is a headteacher in a local primary school and has two grown up daughters who live locally, one a pharmacist and the other an optician .

Manon Hughes

Associate

Manon qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2016 having joined the firm in 2007. Her main interests lie in limited company accounts, personal tax returns and the construction industry.

Manon is experienced in electronic bookkeeping such as Sage and QuickBooks and is also responsible for our payroll department.
